In India, the home affairs ministry has been recommended a ban on 54 apps that belongs to China. These were popular mobile applications that grabbed millions of fans from India. Previously it was 53 counts of banned apps but now it has been 54. Indian Government has decided to ban Garena Free Fire Games application also from Indian Server. Let’s discuss this below.
The developers of Garena free fire have released the media statement in which they claimed that they are working on the updates. Now they are working on the issue but they are not sure to release Garena free fire again on the India Server. As the Indian home affairs ministry has banned 54 Chinese apps along with the Garena Free Fire battle royale game. However, the owner of Free fire is based in Singapore, and also the developer is not from China.
Why Garena Free Fire Got Banned?
Under section 69A, Meity has banned 53 Chinese applications. 69A is an act of information Technology that states that government has the power to decryption, monitor, and also intercept any information by any computer device. The TikTok and PUBG battle royale game got banned because the Indian Government has claimed that it can be the view emergent nature of threats.
Those banned Chinese apps including Garena free fire got indulged in activities that were harmful to the Integrity of India, sovereignty, the security and defense of India, and also for public orders of Indian Servers. Along with 117 other apps that came from across the oceans, the Indian Government Banned the PUBG battle royale game also in 2020. They released the third list of banned applications in 2020. Now they banned Garena free fire applications because it goes against the terms and conditions according to the home affairs ministry of India.
